4) Start selected GTGs on diesel to supply power to all the normal load of the complex and
essential/auxiliaries loads of the selected Gas Lift Compressor / Turbine driver.
At this stage, one main Power Generator (GTG) is online and supplying to all
electrical
consumers in the ULSC and WHTs.
Note :
a) Valves at closed drain pump discharges up to MOL pipeline are provided with volume
bottles which can be used to empty closed drain drum inventory.
b) Valves on diesel supply lines to Fire water pumps and EDG are provided with Volume
tanks which ensure diesel supply to critical items.
2) Start Nitrogen Generation Package and line up the supply of nitrogen to the main users, e.g.
compressor seals, purge of flare system and ensure removal of Oxygen.
5) Ensure auxiliaries of MOL Pumps and GLC Compressor and turbine driver are Ready to be
started
7) Start hot oil circulation pump through the WHRU of selected GLC train and through the
controllability bypass. ( FV1052 – PID 16598)

6. STEP 3 - WELL FLUID INTRODUCTION
1) Line up one Production Separator train.
2) Start selected production wells (preferably sweet wells) at WHTs and gradually pressurize
the system up to inlet of Production Separator (bypass MOV 2101 – PID 12505).
4) Once level is built-up, start one MOL pump in full recycle, line up the system to
route crude oil to Zirku and start sending crude oil to MOL.
9) Start warming up of hot oil through the WHRU of selected GLC train and through the
controllability bypass. ( FV1052 – PID 16598)
12) Introduced Dry gas to GLC 3rd and 4th stage using bypass of MOV-2054and displace
nitrogen through PV-2042-1/2 keeping ESDV-2012 PID 16506 closed.
13) Master Performance Controller of the Compressor can now be put in auto mode.
14) Pressurization of Gas Lift pipeline (including bridge line from ULGTP downstream 576-
ESDV-2012) to be carried out in advance by utilizing gas from outlet of GDU contactor.
Through the kicker line up to GDU pressure (62 Barg).
15) Pressurization of Gas Lift pipeline (including bridge line from ULGTP downstream
576-ESDV-2012) to be carried out in advance by utilizing gas from outlet of GDU
contactor. Through the kicker line up to GDU pressure (62 Barg) using bypass MOV-
2058.
17) Bypass of GSU to feed Flare Pilot & Flare Header purging
3) Route part of the gas from 2nd Stage of GLC to GSU Inlet Scrubber FV1001/1&2 in manual
mode.
4) Start pressurizing GSU Absorber with gas from GLC. Depending on the wells lined-up (sweet or
sour wells), gas may be required to be flared until on spec. using 3” vent line or DBV after H2S
analyzer.
a) The manual valves at the GSU outlet to FGCU-UTP and FGCU-GTP needs to be closed.
5) Once the gas is on-spec, pass it through the fuel gas electric heater by pressurizing the gas
flowing to UTP and GTP FGCUs.
a) Pressurization will be by means of bypass across manual valve for the line going to UTP
FGCU. Start warming up of the gas by keeping the warm-up line open XV2283 at the inlet of
Gas Turbine.
b) Once the set temperature is reached, initiate change-over from diesel to fuel gas of the

8. STEP 5 - START UP OF GAS INJECTION COMPRESSORS
1) Increase platform throughput by increasing well production at WHT or lining up additional wells
2) Stonewall protection valve (FV2006/2 PID 16546) shall be closed and in manual mode.
3) Start pressurization of GI pipeline using Dry gas from GDU up to GDU pressure (62 barg) using
bypass MOV2058.
MOV-1184 & ESDV-1024 PID 11522 – shall be closed.
4) Start pressurizing Gas Injection Compressor up to Gas Lift Compressor 4th stage discharge
pressure using bypass XV2175 PID 16544 and start GIC on full recycle.
5) Once WHTs are ready to receive injection gas, line up the discharge of GIC to the Gas Injection
Pipeline by slowly opening the Stonewall protection valve FV 2006/2 to pressurize up to MOV-
1184, and when pressure equalize open MOV-1184 and then ESDV-1024 .
6) Once the pressures on pipeline side and compressor discharge are almost equalized, switch
the compressor control to auto mode.

9. STEP 6 - START-UP OF REMAINING FACILITIES
Once main power generation is operating on fuel gas firing, the remaining facilities,
i.e. fresh water making, water injection systems can be started.
Sequence of startup for these systems will be provided in a dedicated startup procedure and
Operating Manuals, once more data are available from Vendors.
