Weekly Lesson Plans

A weekly lesson plan is a plan that is made out by most teachers of the world for
this very purpose – to get all the lessons of their week to perfection.

It is basically a plan that consists of what lessons should be taught every day of a
week.

1. Creative and Innovation

Creativity is the ability to produce something new and


different in an imaginative way.
 Innovation is the process of idea generation and utilization
of the creative idea in relevant contexts.
How to foster creativity and innovation in young
learners?

Teaching approaches that give students the opportunity to be creative and


innovative.
For example, if the teacher is teaching a topic of superheroes, s/he could give
the students A4 paper and ask them to create their own superhero and state
their superpowers.
Through creative and innovative teaching approaches, pupils will display
interest, curiosity, excitement and greater growth in learning.
Creativity and innovation in pupils should be exploited and nurtured to ensure
that their full potential is realized.
2. Entrepreneurship
According to Meriam Webster (2013), entrepreneurship means one who organizes,
manages, and assumes the risks of a business or enterprise.

The main purpose of this element is applied across the curriculum is to:-
I. adopt entrepreneurship
II. adopt the mindset toward entrepreneurship in situations be required
III. practice basic business management
IV. produce a knowledge-based product as well as technological and vocational skills
V. practicing good moral and ethical values ​in the context of entrepreneurship
How to foster entrepreneurship in students?

 Teachers are highly suggested to use different types of teaching


method such as project-based learning.
 Through this method, students are able to work as a group or
individual to complete the task given by the teacher and present it
before the class ends.
 For instance, in listening and speaking lesson, students are required to
invent new things and later promote it to their friends.
 During the process, students will feel as if they are an entrepreneur
and will work hard to create and present their own inventions.
3. Information and Communication Technology
Skills (ICT)

 Information and Communication Technology Skills (ICT) include the use of multimedia

resources such as TV documentaries and the Internet as well as the use of computer-
related activities such as e-mail activities, networking and interacting with electronic
courseware.
How to promote the use of ICT to young learners?

Give chance to the students to answer the questions using the laptop.
Ask students to write an email to a pen pal in another country.
Use interactive Web-Based Learning such as exe learning.

Teaching aids are materials that the classroom teacher uses to help students

It is a tool used by teachers, facilitators, or tutors to help learners improve

anxiety, fears, or boredom, since many teaching aids are like games.
