Overview of the company

Lilliput is a manufacturing and Exporting Compony of kidswear & women’s


wear.
 Started in 1991 by sanjeev narula
First store was opened in 2002 in Delhi.
The company has its presence in Bahrain and China.
It has eight manufacturing units with the 3,000 machines
6,00,000 units of cloths per month production capacity.
It has drawn an ambitious plan to open 400 stores 2010-2011.
Problem Faced
Mainly following types of problems were faced –

1- Problems related to IT infrastructure. live server processor count and speed,

current and future RAM capacity, incoming bandwidth availability.

2-problems related to flexibility of earlier solution. Online and live interface.

3-Earlier solution was not full integrated.

4 -with the growing number of stores and multiple transactions, there was a

need to record various business processes in a single database.


Solution
The IT team of Lilliput headed by Naresh kunwar evaluated various

ERP and available business solutions and they choose Microsoft Dynamics

NAV 4.0 as ERP solution and LS Retail as retail solution.

The ERP solutions were implemented by Tectura, a Microsoft Certified

Partner, specialising in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer

Relationship Management (CRM) and technology solutions.

 IT team of Lilliput finally chose Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 because it

integrated easily with Lilliput’s manufacturing set-up and processes.

 The MS NAV 4.0 was also easy to implement and customize according to

specific customer requirements.

The solution improve efficiency and streamline processes to meet the growth

in demand and increase in operations and production.

Microsoft Dynamics works like familiar Microsoft software such as Microsoft

Office, which means less of a learning curve .

MS NAV 4.0 easily works with the systems that company already has

LS Retail, an end-to-end retail solution, takes care of all the activities at the

store level such as billing, inventory management (shop level), discounts and

promotions

LS Retail provided online integration of data between the stores and the

head office.
The combination of MS NAV 4.0 & LS Retail has helped Lilliput in:-
