Ecology:
Ecology is the scientific study of the
relations that living organisms have with
respect to each other & their natural
environment.
Ecology & Business have very close
relationships, in fact Business Activities
have great impact on Ecology.
Business Environment:
The environment of any organization is
the aggregate of all conditions, events
and influences that surround and affect it.
Business environment is individual and
organization that exists outside the
business and have influence direct and
indirect to the business.

National Green Tribunal Act
NGT is an act to provide for the establishment of a
Natural Green Tribunal for the effective and expeditious
disposal of cases related to environment protection and
conservation of forests and other natural resources:
1. Including enforcement of any legal right related to
environment
2. Giving relief and compensation for damages to
persons and property and for matters connected
therewith.
It was enacted under Indias constitution provision of
Article 21 which assures the citizens of India the right
to a healthy environment.
 On 18 October 2010,Justice Lokeshwar Singh Panta
become its first chairman. Currently it is chaired by
Justice Swatanter Kumar since 20 Dec 2012.
The tribunal is mandated to make and endeavour for
disposal of applications or appeals finally within 6
months of filling.
New Delhi is the principal place of sitting of the
tribunal.
This court is special because India is the third country
following Australia and New Zealand to have such a
system.
Notable orders
Yamuna Conservation Zone
On April 2014,the NGT recommended the
government to declare a 52 km stretch of Yamuna
in Delhi & Uttar Pradesh as a conservation zone.
Ban on Old Diesel Vehicles
An attempt to minimize air pollution in
Delhi & NCR PM 2.5 particles have
reached alarming level. As per this order
10 years old vehicle aren't allowed to ply.
