Introduction

New emerging Trend in Tourism Industry is Responsible Tourism.

Social Entrepreneurs and Responsible Tourism can go hand in hand.

Responsible Tourism linked with an activity of visiting and spending


some time at a place, which is maintained by some Govt. Organization
or external agency e.g., an NGOs or a Social Welfare Trust (SWT), or
a Registered Non-Profit Organization (NPO); wherein the tourist is
envisaged to take a break and to be able to contribute for the welfare
of society.
Literature Review
Responsible tourism has been suggested as
one way of maximising the positive and
minimising the negative impacts of tourism.
(Stanford, 2006).

It inspires to see the prosperity and growth of


small businesses in these regions that come
with a thriving responsible tourism
economy. (Sandra, 2017)

This is envisaged to provide Win-Win Situation for all.

A significant change from Routine Tourism concepts.

Creates Awareness on Social Welfare Initiatives.

Allows an expert to use his/her creativity for the benefit of


needy people.

Consciousness and makes them vigilant about their
duties and rights.

Makes the family accompanying the expert to get involved


in the Social Activity and hence promoting the Value
