1. What is Nurse

A nurse is a person who has formally


been educated and trained in the care of the
sick. Nursing also includes several other
fields of medicine, including the prevention of
disease, caring for and monitoring as well as
advising pregnant women.
Nurses use clinical judgment to protect,
and optimize health, prevent illness in health
care for individuals, families, communities,
and populations (International Council).
2. What Does a Nurse
Do?

Nurse is teach and counsel patients as


well as family members, and explain
what they can expect during the recovery
process
Nurse is observe, assess, evaluate, and
record patients conditions and progress,
and they can communicate patience

health care team.

that you may get into, and each one of them
has different education requirements you
will need to know. Some of the most basic
nursing careers include :

licensed vocational nurse, certified medical
assistant).

Most nursing jobs will require
some sort of college degree.

Get Certified
Once you complete your career
training program, you will need to
take an exam to get certified in your
profession.
Get a Job
The more experience you have,
the better your chances will be of
getting hired.

Continue Your Education


Continue going to school and
specialized classes to stay up to
date on advances in the medical
field, and you can enjoy the rewards
of this career.
