36 "Therefore let all Israel

be assured of this: God
has made this Jesus,
whom you crucified,
both Lord and Christ."
37 When the people heard
this, they were cut to the
heart and said to Peter
and the other apostles,
"Brothers, what shall we
do?"
38 Peter replied, "Repent
and be baptized, every
one of you, in the name
of Jesus Christ for the
forgiveness of your sins.
And you will receive the
gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 The promise is for you
and your children and
for all who are far off-for
all whom the Lord our
God will call."
4

7 But I tell you the truth: It
is for your good that I am
going away. Unless I go
away, the Counselor will
not come to you; but if I
go, I will send him to
you.
4

Ê6 And I will ask the

Father, and he will give
you another Counselor to
be with you forever- the
Spirit of truth.
The world cannot accept
him, because it neither
sees him nor knows him.
But you know him, for he
lives with you and will be
in you. Ê8 I will not leave
you as orphans; I will
come to you.

Ê3 For if you live according
to the sinful nature, you
will die; but if by the Spirit
you put to death the
misdeeds of the body,
you will live, Ê because
those who are led by the
Spirit of God are sons of
God. Ê For you did not
receive a spirit that makes
you a slave again to fear,
but you received the Spirit
of sonship. And by him we
cry, "Abba, Father." Ê6 The
Spirit himself testifies with
our spirit that we are God's
children.
'He convicts us of sin,
righteousness &
judgment ²

John Ê6:8-ÊÊ

8 When he comes, he will

convict the world of guilt
in regard to sin and
righteousness and
judgment: 9 in regard to
sin, because men do not
believe in me; Ê in
regard to righteousness,
because I am going to
the Father, where you
can see me no longer; ÊÊ
and in regard to
judgment, because the
prince of this world now
stands condemned.
' He helps us confess that
Jesus is Lord

ÊCorinthians Ê:3

Therefore I tell you that

no one who is speaking
by the Spirit of God says,
"Jesus be cursed," and no
one can say, "Jesus is
Lord," except by the Holy
Spirit.
' He teaches us all things/
reminds us His Word/
guides us in all truth ²

John Ê :6 , John Ê6:Ê3

But the Counselor, the

Holy Spirit, whom the
Father will send in my
name, will teach you all
things and will remind
you of everything I have
said to you.

But when he, the Spirit of
truth, comes, he will
guide you into all truth.
He will not speak on his
own; he will speak only
what he hears, and he
will tell you what is yet to
come.

weaknesses

Romans 8:6

In the same way, the Spirit
helps us in our weakness.

Romans 8:ÊÊ-Ê3

ÊÊ And if the Spirit of him
who raised Jesus from the
dead is living in you, he
who raised Christ from
the dead will also give life
to your mortal bodies
through his Spirit, who
lives in you.
Ê Therefore, brothers, we
have an obligation-but it
is not to the sinful nature,
to live according to it. Ê3
For if you live according
to the sinful nature, you
will die; but if by the
Spirit you put to death the
misdeeds of the body,
you will live
' He exhibits His fruits

Galatians :3

patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness,

control. Against such
things there is no law.

We do not know what we
ought to pray for, but the

mind of the Spirit,
because the Spirit
intercedes for the saints

' He reveals what is
prepared for us

Ê Corinthians :9-Ê

9 However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen, no ear
has heard, no mind has
conceived what God has
prepared for those who
love him"-

to us by his Spirit. The
Spirit searches all
things, even the deep
things of God.

John Ê6:Ê3

On one occasion, while he
was eating with them, he

"Do not leave Jerusalem,
but wait for the gift my
Father promised, which
you have heard me speak
about.
 For John baptized with
water, but in a few days
you will be baptized with
the Holy Spirit."
6 So when they met
together, they asked
him, "Lord, are you at
this time going to
restore the kingdom to
Israel?" 7 He said to them:
"It is not for you to know
the times or dates the
Father has set by his own
authority.
8 But you will receive
power when the Holy Spirit
comes on you; and you
will be my witnesses in
Jerusalem, and in all
Judea and Samaria, and to
the ends of the earth.

out my Spirit in those
days, and they will
prophesy.
