TASKS ASSIGNED
To read up on sewage wastewater treatment activity. To list out what type of treatment is involved and type of
Task 1 equipment normally used for the treatment.

To identify type of aerator that are available in the market and the difference.
Task 2 To differentiate between Aqua-Jet surface aerator and DDM Mixer.

Working principle of peristaltic pump.

Advantages of peristaltic pump vs other type of pumps (centrifugal, diaphragm pump, progressive cavity pump).
Task 3 Do comparison between Bredel pump vs Verderflex pump.

Application of Aquafine UV system.

Task 4 The differences between Aquafine UV system and TrojanUV system.

PERISTALTIC PUMP
The actual pumping principle called
peristalsis, based on alternating compression
and relaxation of the hose or tube, drawing
content in and propelling product away from
the pump.
A rotor is used to squeeze a leak-proof tube
or hose, thereby forcing the pumped fluid
through the hose.
As the pumps rotor turns this sealing
pressure moves along the tube or hose
forcing product to move away from the pump
and into the discharge line.
One of the Verderflex Peristaltic Pump Combination of the suction and discharge
principles produce a powerful self-priming
positive displacement action.
PERISTALTIC PUMP ADVANTAGES
Abrasion resistant
No moving parts in the liquid stream
Accurate Dosing
Self-priming
Can pump liquids containing up to 80% inorganic solids (fines)
Aseptic pumping smooth liquid passage
Easy & completely cleanable without disassembly
Suitable for handling shear sensitive products
Can run dry
Low cost of ownership
High suction capability of up to 95% vacuum or a 9.5 mWc
No seals
Reversible rotation, empties line or blockages
Can pump abrasive, very viscous or high density liquid
TURBO BLOWER
High speed centrifugal blower
integral with a Permanent Magnet
Synchronized Motor (pmsm),
driven through an inverter.
The energy is transfer from a
rotating shaft to air or gas.
A pressure rise is achieved by
adding kinetic energy to a
continuous flow of air through the
