Objective

To provide an immediate response procedure in


cases of emergencies involving employees, guests,
and contractual employees of Solaire Resort Casino.

DETAILED PROCEDURES:

A. ALERT DISSEMINATION
After receiving emergency alert (Service Center), the following steps shall occur:

1. Service Center alerts Control Room immediately (provide details briefly)


2. Simultaneously, Service Center alerts Clinic while Control Room alerts ERT
3. Control Room alerts Duty Manager
4. Responding Team proceeds immediately to the injured patient
B. ERT FIRST RESPONDER
1. Assess condition, takes and records vital signs
2. Relay information whether the case is emergency or non-emergency to
responding team
3. Administer first aid measures as necessary while responding team is on its way
to the scene

C. PATIENT STATUS
Emergency
1. MD informs SON to alert Clinic and Ambulance team
2. Ambulance team prepares for ER Conduction
3. Ambulance team transports patient to San Juan De Dios or Hospital of choice
(with waiver ER Conduction must be to the nearest hospital facility)
4. SON accompanies patient when necessary (when patient has no companion).
Solaire security accompanies patient and SON when patient is unruly.
5. Ambulance team, MD and SON submits consolidated Incident Report to Solaire
HR, Clinic Manager and Clinic Coordinator immediately
6. If non-Solaire liability, charges will be informed by SON to the
patient/companion. Charge slip to be acknowledged by the patient/companion.

DETAILED PROCEDURES:
A. ALERT DISSEMINATION
After receiving guest sick call (Service Center), the following steps shall occur:

1. Service Center informs medical charges for clinic services and treatment
2. Service Center alerts Control Room immediately (provide details briefly)
3. Simultaneously, Service Center alerts Clinic while Control Room alerts ERT
4. Control Room alerts Duty Manager
5. Responding Team proceeds immediately to the patient
6. If patient requests for MD consult, MD visits the guestroom. MD to follow triaging
protocol. Triaging means prioritizing patient care (critical over non-critical).
7. If Solaire liability, MD must visit the guestroom (ex. Suspected food poisoning, fall
due to slippery floor, etc.)
B. RESPONDING TEAM
1. Assesses patient, takes vital signs, demographic data and chief
2. Administer first aid measures and treatment as necessary. Responding team to
consider MD consult as needed.

2. Proceed with Medical Consultation process flow
3. Signed waiver for the following:

a. Waiver for medicine dispensing


b. Waiver for refusal of treatment or
c. Waiver for refusal of hospital conduction

4. If the guest requires ER Conduction, Duty Manager informs nearest relative. SON
accompanies guest if the guest is alone.
5. SON issues charge slip which will be acknowledged by the guest
6. Records on Healthmetrics

* If patient does not agree, SON explains waiver to be signed by the guest

3. If the guest requires ER Conduction, Duty Manager informs nearest relative. SON
accompanies guest if the guest is alone
4. When the condition is alleged Solaires liability, no charges will be incurred.
