IDENTITY:

Being Bold and Brave in Christ

 WE ALL WANT SOCIAL
ACCEPTANCE
The problem with social acceptance is we end up
giving ourselves over to identities that are not true to
who we really are.
Other people cannot give you your identity
Your identity that God gives you and you get to
cooperate with God in choosing to believe that
identity.
Stay true yourself in staying true to God.
 CULTURAL IDENTITY:

If you think:
- I'm not good enough.
- I'm not cool or popular.
- I'm not beautiful.
- I'm not smart.
- I'm not likeable.

All of these are negative identities. There are some people who will try to
speak these things into your life. And I want to tell you right now: these are
lies.
 YOUR SPIRITUAL IDENTITY:

The truth is: any of one of you could be the future leaders of
tomorrow. And you just don't know it yet because you
haven't been able to see the Path that God is going to bring
you on.
God has a vision of the person he wants to form you into.
It's all about: how you can cooperate with God to do the
things he would like you to do, that lead to the life he has
planned for you.
 GOD IS MAKING YOU LIKE CHRIST:

Christ is:
- Bold and brave
- Strong (Confident)
- Good (he knows his intentions are pure and good)
- Outreaching: actively seeks to inspire, lead and encourage others
- Forgiving: actively seeks to release others from their sin by forgiving
them.
- Loving, at peace, in joy.
Amazing
 THE GOALS OF GOD'S PEOPLE:
To grow in Christ-likeness.
to join God in redeeming creation.
to help others see their real and true identity in God.
To bring healing to others (spiritually, physically and
emotionally).
Care for the sick, feed the hungry, clothe the naked,
cast out demons, care for the needy
Proclaim the Kingdom of God (that God has come
to rescue and redeem us)
 OUR WEAKNESS

It is not we that are strong, but through Christs

strength we can become spiritual soldiers.
I can do all things through Christ who
strengthens me
 YOU ARE LEADERS OF TOMORROW
You are leaders of tomorrow, if you choose to start walking
that path now.
Its not a short path. Its a lifetime of thousands of steps
towards Godliness.
You have been called to the greatest rescue mission known
to man.
Its not an easy path but it is a great path. You are being
called to your best life and that is a life in serving God.
When you think of the future, who would you like to be?
We stand for God because we
know he is the greatest and we
want others to be healed and
reconciled with God.
 You must be the change you want to see in the
world

When you think of the future, who would you like to be?
Ask God the kind of person hed like you to be in the future, and if youre
willing to cooperate with him on this, ask him to take you on the right path.
