MORNING PROCEDURES

-Parent/Guardian must sign in/sign out time and

initial
-Student: Check in name, empty out backpack-
bedding and homework folder
-Student: Sign in everyday (hand over hand)
-Parent: Develop a consistent morning routine!
Tip: Hug, kiss, see you after school!
ATTENDANCE
-Attendance is very important!
-10 unexcused absents will be released from the program
-Do not send a sick child to school!
-Please communicate with teacher if there are emergences
-8:00 is pre-k tardy bell
-After 8:00 check in health room for tardy slip
-If student leaves school before 11:00a.m it counts as an absence.
-Tip: Schedule Dr./Dentist after 12:00
BEDDING
-Toddler size sheet to go over cot (prevention of spread of
ukus)
-Pillow
-Light blanket
-No blankets with strings or zippers (sleeping bag)
-Bring home on Friday to wash, clean set on Mondays
-Extra set of clothes in case of accidents
UNIFORMS, CLOTHING, FOOTWEAR
-Uniforms must be worn on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
-Wednesdays are free dress days
-Footwear is a MUSTSlippers are great!
-Children must be able to wear footwear he/she can put on
independently.

Uniforms may be bought in the cafeteria for Pre-K students.

HOMEWORK/HOME LINKS
-Daily Message will include the activities of the day.
-Read and Respond
-Read for 20 minutes or more
-Respond: Child will tell you about a part he/she like in the story, parent will write on
paper
-Writing Practice
-Students must draw or write on homework. Parents should not be drawing for their
child.
