The implementation of Software services is based on 9 functional divisions.
Functional divisions are:
CM: This function is in charge of configuring BSS objects and of managing
Operations and Maintenance Network access.
PM: Manages temporary and permanent system observations and

FM: Manages faults from BSS and OMC-R itself.
MMI: Provisions a workstation interface and also implements OMC-R system
security functions.
COM: Manages communications between MD-R and manager and between
MD-R and BSSs.
CF: Set of software parts common to a number of user functions, also
supporting OMC-R administration function.
SM: Defines users and terminal profiles.
OA: Provides a set of services to administrate OMC-R: shutdown/start-up,
supervision, etc..
ROT: Function that manages Remote Operation Terminal user log-in
procedures and deals.
