ISL WEEK 5
Human relations skills are important at all levels of
activity.
1. At the lowest level, operations, technical skills and
hr skills are nearly equal with conceptual skills the
least important.
2. At the middle level, middle management, hr skills
are the most critical with more emphasis on both
technical and conceptual skills.
3. At the highest level, top management, conceptual
skills and hr skills are both equally important with
technical skills the least important.
Emotional Intelligence can increase just as ones
knowledge base can increase.

1. It helps us accurately perceive, appraise, and


express emotions.
2. It helps us access or generate feelings on demand
when they can facilitate understanding or yourself
or another person.
3. It helps us understand emotions and the
knowledge that derives from those emotions.
4. It helps us regulate emotions to promote
emotional and intellectual growth.
