This document outlines four axioms or principles for growing a church based on biblical teachings:
1. Organize the church into small groups to allow focused work in local neighborhoods.
2. Involve all church members and give each person a role to prevent idleness and increase impact.
3. Develop a well-organized, harmonious, and integrated work plan to advance together towards goals.
4. Assume inspiring leadership that lifts up and supports others to progress the work of the church.

I'm sure that nobody would think of putting a different value to (pi) that is equivalent to 3.1416. I assure you that if it were to happen, it wouldn't have its correct result in its mathematical or physical operation. Some axioms of church growth: Organize your Church into Small Groups.
Involve All Members of your Church.
Have a well-organized, wholesome and
integrated Working Plan.
Assume an Inspiring Leadership.
Organize yourselves into Small Groups. Time is short and our strengths must be organized to do a broader work.
The formation of small groups as the base of
the Christian effort has been shown to me by one who cannot fail.
Let there be well-organized groups of workers
in each church that work in its own neighbourhood. If there are many members in the church, organize yourselves in small groups to work.
If in some place there are only two
or three that know the truth, organize yourselves into a group of workers (CS 92). *This and following quotes are free translations from the book entitled Servicio Cristiano (Christian Service) in Spanish. Author Ellen G. White. Involve All Members of the Church The work of God on this Earth can never be finished, until men and women covered by the total number of members in our church, unite to the work and unify their efforts with those of the pastors and leaders of the churches. (Servicio Cristiano, page 87). The elders and those who have leading positions in the church should arrange the matters in such a way that every church member has a part to fulfill, that no one would live a life without purpose, but that all would carry out what they can do according to their own capacity. (Servicio Cristiano, page 78). The true character of the church is not measured by the high profession it makes, nor by the names settled in its books, but by what it is really doing in benefit of the Master, by the number of its perseverant and faithful workers. The personal interest and the watchful and individual effort will do more for the cause of Christ than what can be accomplished by the sermons or the Creeds. (Servicio Cristiano, page 17). Idleness and religion cannot walk together; and the cause of our great deficiency in the Christian life and experience is the inactivity in the work of God. (Servicio Cristiano, page 107). Have a well-organized, wholesome and integrated Working Plan. The secret of our success in the work of God will be found in the harmonious work of our people. There must be concentrated action. We should advance together to defeat obstructions and difficulties, shoulder to shoulder, and heart to heart. If Christians were to act in agreement, advancing as one sole man, under the direction of one sole Power, for the fulfillment of one sole purpose, they would move the world. (Servicio Cristiano, page 95). What God requires are not numerous institutions, great buildings, nor much ostentation, but the harmonious action of a peculiar people, a precious people chosen by Him. Every one should occupy their place, thinking, speaking and acting in harmony with the Spirit of God. Then, but not before, will the work be a complete and symmetrical whole. (Servicio Cristiano. pg. 94) The angels work harmoniously... The closer we can imitate the harmony and order of the angelical host, the greater will be the success that will crown the efforts of these heavenly agents in our favour. If we do not see a need for harmonious action, and we are disordered, undisciplined and disorganized in our conduct..., then they cannot work for us with success. They move away with grievance, for they are not authorized to bless confusion, distraction and disorganization... Those who have the anointing from above, will in all their efforts stimulate order, discipline and unity of action, and then the angels of God can co-operate with them. But, these heavenly messengers will never give their support to irregularity, disorganization and disorder. (Servicio Cristiano, page 96). Assume an Inspiring Leadership
The fraternity should be lifted up to where the
minister is elevated, in this way supporting his efforts by helping him to carry his burdens. In this way, he will not feel overloaded nor will he be discouraged. No influence that would have a lasting result can be cast out in church, unless the brethren would move intelligently, by principle, to do all that are in their reach in order to progress the work. (Servicio Cristiano, page 86). The church must be an active church if it wants to be a living church. It should not be pleased merely by mantaining its positions against the opposing forces of sin and error, nor should it be pleased of advancing at a slow pace but it should carry the yoke of Christ, and maintain itself in pace with its leader, winning new recruits along the way. (Servicio Cristiano page 106). As in Mathematics or in Physics, if we apply the axioms the results will be exact, trustworthy and correct. Time must not be lost discussing their veracity, you will rather proove them by their results. Let us apply the divine statements previously mentioned in the missionary field of the Church, so the work that has been entrusted to us will reach surprising results.
