Results of the survey
This report gives detail information about the accessibility and availability of the internet
involving students from Rosebank College in Polokwane. The survey was easy and efficient as
possible to students.
-Accessibility:-The survey showed that many students access the internet at school or library
and home. Many students have access to internet everyday and many of them have access to
internet using their cellphones.
-Access to internet outside:-Most students do not have access to internet outside campus.
-The most common means of access was the cellphone.
- The means of access most student use is cellphones because it is the most affordable one
-Yes socio-economic factors play a role because it many students showed that they mostly have
access to internet at school campus and outside only a few had access , and most of them used
the school or library and a few at home
- Not everyone have the same level of technology since some of the student found the internet
not useful meaning that they do not really know the importance of internet .
- Yes they was a correlation between the level of access of availability and skills. They all at the
same level on the graph.
The survey was conducted in an efficient manner and it involves the accessibility of internet and
where and when do students make use of the internet and most importance if the students find
the internet to be more useful.
