Chronic stress can occurs when that on
edge feeling becomes a regular state
Stress weakens the immune system,
making you more susceptible to illness
Stomach Pain, Irritable Bowel Syndrome - The butterflies feeling can turn into serious
cramping or nausea,
diarrhea or constipation

Heartburn, Acid Reflux - stress increases alcohol intake and smoking, leading to these
issues

High blood pressure, Heart disease, Heart attack, Stroke - extreme levels can raise bp and
put you at risk for heart issues

Obesity, Diabetes - Stress eating, pancreas produces too much glucose and can cause
diabetes

Asthma - Stress can make it worse, lungs dont get enough oxygen

Depression, Anxiety, Sleep Loss - 7/10 adults report daily stress, anxiety, and sleep loss

Headaches - Increase occurrence and intensity, migraines

Irregular menstruation and worsened pms - could cause you to miss periods or have
painful periods
Erectile dysfunction - decreases sexual desire, decreases sperm count and quality
Solutions
Meditation
Deep breathing
Exercise 30-60 minutes a day
Focusing on moment rather than the past
Become more organized - use a planner
Seek counseling
