THEORY OF STRUCTURES

AIMS:

i. To develop the understanding of the behavior of determinate structures

with reference to beams and frames.


ii. To provide the concept of statically indeterminate structures illustrating
their application to structures like beams, trusses and rigid frames.
iii. To understand the behavior of arches and suspension cables.
