Illegal immigrants
Introductory Slide
Hello

My name is Elva mozqueda today im going to be talking about illegal

immigrants. How immigrants come to the U.S to live the American dream.Whats a
American dream the ideal every U.S. citizen should have an equal opportunity to
achieve success and prosperity through hard work, determination, and initiativ.
Thesis
Even though some people believe that immigrants are bad people,
immigrants should have the right to come to u.s. to work, because
immigrants coming to u.s. for a job is a economic need, humans should
not be judge by their race, and having immigrants is a good opportunity
for u.s. to grow economically.
Argument 1
Immigrants coming to u.s. for a job is a economic need. Immigrants coming to the U.S. to find a job is a need for
the u.s because it grows and it helps both immigrants and the u.s economy. Illegal immigrants often benefit from
businesses, by filling low-wage jobs. This helps the U.S. economy benefit more than harming the U.S has stabilized
in recent years after decades of rapid growths. It could benefit enormously from an immigration system that is more
responsive to broader economic conditions. Example in 2010, the unemployment rate in construction was over 20
percent, but the department of labor nevertheless certified thousands of temporary work visas.
Argument 2
Human should not be judge by their race.
This concept is talking about how hard it takes for people to understand how migrants
suffer to get to the U.S. to live an american dream. The popular usage of the term
"immigrant" is generally understood to be a person who migrates to another country,
usually for permanent residence.
Argument 3.
Having immigrant is a good opportunity for u.s. to grow.
Undocumented workers make up about 5 percent of the U.S. labor market. 8 million
illegal immigrants in the U.S. are of working age, according to Pew. This is a fact and it
shows how many immigrants came to work in the U.S.

This graph is talking about how many immigrants
working U.S.

As you can see we have more immigrants working

in construction laborers and cooking. Some of
these don't report taxes so all that money goes to
the buildings, hospital and other things which helps
this government.
This video is talking about Clara's eldest kid was 6 years old and her youngest
just a year old when it happened. Josefina's baby was 9 months. All three children were
ripped from their mothers and sent to live in foster homes with strangers... Yet one
morning last year, their family was shattered when federal immigration authorities
detained both sisters. The story continues Clara and Josefina were deported and for a
year they did not have contact with their children.

Personal Reflection
I have learned so many skills such as writing skills, time management and the
ability to sort the important information from the unimportant. I will be able to use
these skills in the future because they will allow me to perform well in my career
and help bring value and personal traits to the job that I get hired for.
