History
The manufacturer Mahindra was the first company
to introduce the jeep category in India back in the
year 1949.
Over the years Mahindra has been a dominant
player in this space with various launches like the
MM series, Commander, Marshal, Classic and the
latest being the Thar.
The Thar model was launched in October 2010.
The latest upgrade known as the Thar CRDe was
launched in July 2015 and has been available to
the market till date.
