History
According to the Northhouse 2015 the term
transformational leadership first coined by
Downtown (1973) but it emerge as an important
approach with the classic work by James MacGregor
Burns (1978) in the shape of Leadership where he
attempted to link the roles of leadership to
followership and later enhanced by Bass (1985,
1998) and others (Givens 2008)

Distributive leaders:
A public girls high school where majority of students are from poor
marginalized community whereas, the staff including school principal are
from dominated caste. Student achievement rate is not good generally
and of girls from suppressed caste specifically as compared to other
school in the town. School principal has recently got leadership training
and want to improve student achievement rate with special focus on
girls from marginalized communities. She has developed following road
map to initiate transformational process in the school in order to
improve student achievement rate and promote collaborative and
equitable culture in the school;
