an ethical breach Includes: Employer Employee Board and Top management Business functions pitted against each other Gender Based Business and Civil society organisations Issues: Bullying Corruption Sexism Racism Nepotism Sometimes organizations create concentric power centers, Create individuals or positions that will exercise all the power and will not have any controls on them.
If leaders in such positions happen to be high on
integrity, then they will exercise self-restraint. More often, however, such power corrupts best of the leaders and they end up misusing the power. Power makes things happen, but it is through the exercise of an appropriate balance between Power and Responsibility that helps ensure as many good things happen as possible.
