are questions which require more thought and

more than a simple one-word answer.

cannot be answered with a simple "yes" or "no.

 Read the story below and answer the questions that follow.

Kelly Slater is the most successful professional surfer in the history of the sport. He
is a surfing genius and a seven-time world champion. He created many modern surfing
moves.
When he is not surfing, he spends most of his free time with his family. He loves
being with them. His friends also play a very important role in his life, especially Tom,
his best friend, who is always there when he needs him. Tom is a happy guy who is
always telling jokes and making him laugh. That helps Kelly relax before competitions.
Jack Johnson is a singer. In his free time, he likes surfing but he is not very good at
it.
One day, he had a serious accident while he was surfing. He broke his leg. During
his recovery, he spent the time writing songs and playing the guitar. Jack had learnt to
play the guitar at the age of 14.
