Literature Review

The current study compares the impact of pay-for-


performance in the public and private sector
employees.
Research Goals

Firstly, it is investigated whether PFP is associated


with worker happiness.
Secondly, whether the impact of PFP on happiness
differs between the public and private sector
employees.
Results of the Study

It is found that income is positively associated with


happiness, and so the pay-for-performance is related to
increase overall job satisfaction.
It is also found that private sector employees are more
likely to be motivated by financial rewards than are
public employees because of the transparency
constraints, and budgetary constraints in the public
sector.

relationship between employee involvement and
job satisfaction

Literature Review

This study seeks to examine the relationship between


employee involvement and job satisfaction.
It states that when employee involvement is supported by
rewarding it develops positive attitude in employees towards
their job. Job rewards have the potential to inuence job
satisfaction like job values, work conditions, and individual
attributes
Results of the Study
The findings indicated that the effect of employee
involvement on job satisfaction revealed a signicant and
positive relationship , and, the mediating effect of
rewarding on the relationship between employee
involvement and job satisfaction was confirmed.
It is also found that when employees are provided with
an opportunity of decision making, and this involvement
of employees if supported by rewards, it will develop
positive attitude in employees regarding their job and
maintain job satisfaction

It is analyzed that company value its


employees, and according to its mission
statement, it aims to reward its employees on
the basis of their performance, and also
compensate them in order to sustain its
valuable asset.
