A Survey Report in Grade 10- Patience in their


Chosen Track and Strand in Kapayapaan
National High School

The researchers had spend time in developing their questionnaire so as to serve its intended

respondent. With regard to data gathering were accommodating as they understand that through questionnaire

respondents will be aware that an aspiring track and strand must acquire to function competently.

The results will be tallied and tabulated according to the frequency of items answered by the

participants after data tabulation, results will be interpreted using various statistical tools. The results of the

technique use in the data gathering helped the research group to arrive at the interpretation of the study.

The data collected in this study were organized and classified based on the research and the problems

formulated. The data were coded, tallied and tabulated to facilitate the presentation and interpretation of

results. The formula used in the application of this technique is:

p = ( f / n ) x 100

where:

p = percentage

f = frequency

n = total samples/ respondents

1. In what school do you prefer to enrol in Senior High School?

Table 1 results shows the consideration of the intended schools of Grade-10 Patience of Kapayapaan

National High School to enrol in Senior High School. Among the students 21 or 75 % were referred to enrol

at Kapayapaan National High School, while 2 or 7.14 % occupied themselves to enrol at Mary help of

Christians and STI College, however 1 or 3.57 % wanted to study at Malayan College Laguna, Calamba

Doctors College, and Golden Wisdom.

In general shows that there is a high possibilities that students wanted to study in public schools than

the private schools as percentage shows.

Table 2 revealed the chosen track and strand of Grade 10- Patience OF Kapayapaan National High

School. 5 or 17.86 % of students take a STEM as their aspiring strand, 8 or 28.57 % interested to study ABM.

And for HUMSS 9 or 32.14 % considered students. Also, 3 or 10.71 % respondents participated in Animation

and Bread & Pastry. No one was involve in Hair Dressing and SMAW.

As a whole majority of the students occupied themselves choosing Academic Track.


3. What factors affect you on making decisions?

Table 3 presents the factors affecting in making decisions of Grade 10- Patience of Kapayapaan

National High School. 8 or 28.57 % of students select arent decisions, 2 or 7.14 % said because of influence

of other friends and 16 or 57.14 %said well modified knowlegde and skills about the chosen stand and it

takes the highest rank. There are 2 or 7.14 % conclude that other factors affecting their decisions this is the

sisters connection and advice of others. Furthermore no one students prefer that in relationship affects their

decision making.

Conclusion

Based on the findings the researchers arrived at this conclusion.

Majority of the students of grade 10- Patience of Kapayapaan National High School enroll at Public

Schools in Senior High School than Private Schools. Mostly claims to take an Academic Track which is

suitable in their learning knowledge and skills in which they were capable of doing. And there are some

distractions in a situation where in decision making but yet this help them to be more aware and guided in

given career to function competently.
