With regards to drinking water there are bore wells and water tanks installed at regular intervals, but its not treated and maintained which makes unsafe for
consumption.
According to the survey conducted, it is evident that the supply of electricity is from BESCOM(Bangalore electricity supply company, Karnataka, India), there are no
other alternative methods of electricity supply.

Public services:
According to the existing security services there is security provided at the main gate on the Tumkur highway NH7, at the point of entry and exit. There is also a
police station located in the yard.
There are many means of access to the yard such as railways and road ways from in and around the city.
Garbage segregation is nil and garbage collection is seldom, giving rise to unhygienic environment.
According to the survey conducted, there are eateries/refreshments available in the yard, generally in the form of temporary shacks or mobile canteens.
But lack of hygiene and infrastructure makes it cumbersome for few classes of people to consume the food from such places.

Social service:
Provision for first aid and health care facilities in case of medical emergency is not available in the premises of the market.
There are no provisions for educating the farmers, vendors etc in their fields, which would increase the productivity.

Transportation details :
The survey gives details of means of transport to the market that is through railways and road ways for customers and vendors.

Goods are brought to the market in HTV, after the trade the customer carries away the goods in HTV and smaller vehicles depending on the quantity purchased.

The vendors, customers generally arrive to the market in their private vehicles(Two-wheeler/Four-wheeler).

Traffic congestion :
The Yeshwanthpur APMS yard is located in Yeshwanthpur, the main approach road is from Bangalore Tumkur highway NH4 which is a congested route.

Most of the HTVs enter through the main entrance on NH4 as there is a check point. Thus making it very congested during the arrival of goods.

During the unloading of commodities there is congestion in and around the shops.
Generally many a times there is complete blockage of the streets.

Unloading of commodities, the HTVs which are exiting create congestion on the wide peripheral roads which leads to the exit gate.
Meanwhile most of the times, during arrival of goods unloading from HTVs to godown, loading from godown to customer vehicle and exit of such vehicles, there is
high TVC (traffic volume count) of customers vehicles too.
