Electric Current

Is the continuous flow of electric

charges through a material.
For example a wire- the amount of
electric charges that passes through a
wire in an amount of time is the rate of
electric current
Electric Circuit
Electric current must flow continuously
from place to place in the electric
circuit.
Is a complete, unbroken path which
electricity or electric charges can flow
Conductor
Conductor transfer transfer electric
charge well.
Here are some good conductors:
metals, silver, copper,
alluminum,and iron.
Aluminum are conductors used for
making cooking pans.
They contain electrons that can
flow easily, because their electrons
bound loosely.
Insulator
Insulator does not transfer electric
charge well.
Their charges cannot flow easily because,
their electrons are bound tightly to their
atoms.
Some examples of it are rubber, cloth,
wood, glass and plastic.

Rubber
Gloves
Voltage
Voltage is an informal term for electric
potential difference and is also called
electric tension.
Voltage is a measure of the energy of
electricity, specifically, it is the energy per
unit charge.
Its unit is volt (V)
Voltage Source
A voltage source is a
device that creates a
potential difference in an
electric circuit.
Resistance
Amount of current that exist in a circuit
does not just depends only voltage, but also
depends on the resistance of that material.
Resistance is the measure of how difficult it
is for charges to flow through a material.
The greater the resistance, the less current
there is for a given voltage
The background picture is ohm, which is the
unit measure of resistance.
