FIFA:
FIFA signed a ten-year MoU with the AIFF to provide technical and strategic
assistance in the latter's 'Lakshya' project, which aims to ensure that India
qualifies for the FIFA World Cup in 2022
FIFA granted $400,000 for setting up 2 Technical centre in Bangalore and
Gangtok
AFC:
RECENT DEVELOPMENTS
Investment of more than 5o million for Club, Academy, Tournament Match, School League
and National Team.
The total sponsored amount for Indian football is more than 40 crore.
Bollywood Connection:
Shahrukh Khan, the king of Bollywood and super star expressed desire to
own 50% stake in 3 times I-League Champion Dempo Football Club.
