IMPLIKASI

Theoretical contribution
1. Adequacy of pay does act as a predictor of job satisfaction. This
result is consistent with studies by Money and Graham (1999), Waite
and Stites-Doe (2000), and Belfield and Heywood (2008).
2. Participation in pay systems does act as a predictor of job
satisfaction. This result support studies by Pettijohn, Pettijohn and
dAmico (2001), Terpstra and Honoree (2008), and Boardman and
Sunquist (2009).
Methodological contribution
1. The survey questionnaires used in this study have exceeded a
minimum standard of validity and reliability analyses; this can lead to
the production of accurate and reliable findings.
Practical Contribution
2. Provide extra rewards for high performers

KESIMPULAN

Performance based pay did act as an important antecedent of


job satisfaction in the compensation program models of the
organization. This result has also supported performance based
pay literature mostly published in Western countries.

MODEL BAGI MEYOKONG PERKAITAN ANTARA PENYERTAAN DAN KEPUASAN KERJA
Leventhals (1976) self-interest model mencadangkan bahawa pembuatan keputusan yang adil perlu melibatkan 6
peraturan: accurate information, apply consistent allocation procedures, do correct decisions, suppress bias, practice
moral and ethical standards in decision-making and ensure allocation process meet recipients expectation and needs.
Aplikasi teori ini dalam model program pampasan menunjukkan bahawa pembuatan keputusan yang adil akan
meningkat apabila pengurusan dapat menggunakan gaya penyertaan secara teratur bagi menentukan ganjaran
berdasarkan prestasi mereka. Keadaan ini boleh mendorong para pekerja meningkatkan kepuasan kerja dalam
organisasi (Money & Graham, 1999; Pettijohn et al., 2001).

H1: Terdapat perhubungan yang positif di antara penyertaan dan kepuasan kerja
Azman et al. (2010) mengendalikan satu kajian tentang ganjaran berdasarkan prestasi menggunakan sampel 132
pekerja yang berkhidmat di pusat-pusat GIAT MARA Malaysia. Keputusan kajian ini melaporkan bahawa
keupayaan pengurusan untuk menggalakan penyertaan pekerja dalam mengurus sistem ganjaran tersebut telah dapat
mendorong mereka meningkatkan kepuasan kerja dalam organisasi.
H2: Terdapat perhubungan yang positif di antara kecukupan ganjaran dan kepuasan kerja
Azman et al. (2010) mengendalikan satu kajian tentang ganjaran berdasarkan prestasi menggunakan sampel 132
pekerja yang berkhidmat di pusat-pusat GIAT MARA Malaysia. Keputusan kajian ini melaporkan bahawa
keupayaan pengurusan untuk menyediakan jumlah ganjaran yang mencukupi dalam mengurus sistem ganjaran tersebut
