Automation

Automation in IT sector works same as in other sectors but the only difference from other
sectors is instead of using robots and machines we use scripts and programs codes for
performing automation
Automated Teller Machine could be a best example for automation in IT, here a logic
driven response( based on data entered by the user) is performed by an automated
process
omation in Testing: GUI testing of websites and output testing can be performed with the help of automation.

ous tools like selenium is used for testing automation

Server Automation: Tasks like Pulling information form large database, printing refined
data, spell-checking tasks, data entry, etc. There are many tools available for server
automation like ComodIT, Rundeck, etc
Network Automation: Network management functions like network mapping , device discovery,
and virtual network configuration can be implemented with the help of automation. Python
language is generally used for writing scripts for network automation.

Workload Automation or Job Scheduling: Centralize monitoring, queue handling, prioritizing

jobs, etc are the tasks performed by Job Schedular or workload automation

Challenges:

Require time and money in creation of scripts for implementing automation

Any update in process require recreation of scripts
100% automation not possible

Virtualization

WHAT IS IT:

In computing,
virtualization refers to
the demonstration of
making a virtual (as
opposed to genuine)
form of something,
including virtual PC
hardware platforms, OS,
storage gadgets, and PC
network resources.

Lets suppose memory is

available for allocation at
different locations of a hard
drive and due to that reason
a file which requires more
memory than is available.
Now through all the
memory available as
separate chunks can be
pooled together and then
allocated.

Challenges:
Upfront cost- Huge initial investment is
required in virtualization software and
sometime additional hardware is also
required
Requirement of expert IT staff for
managing virtualization process
Not all server application are capable to
be implemented through virtualization
Security of confidential and important data

VIM
Monitor and Manage
performance of all virtual
machines in the organization
Establish and maintain
network connectivity
Ensuring of latest software
Creation, deletion and
modification of virtual
machine

FinTech :
FinTech is an acronym to Financial Technology broadly refers to application of technology within
the financial industry and covers a wide range of activities

From crowdsourcing to mobile

payments, there has never been
as much choice to entrepreneurs
as there is presently. It's never
been less expensive to set-up
your business, as well as to
expand it and with ever changing
technology it will continue to be
so in future also.

PERSPECTIVE

The ascent of FinTech has

opened up a world of
possibilities. Organizations can
offer more services than any
other time in recent memory and
at a small amount of the cost of
what it would have taken some
time recently
The rise of the smart phone has
hugely changed the behaviour of
consumers.
Individuals can access data and
information on the go.
Checking online account or setting
up an online investment portfolio, a
user can now handle financial affairs
as effectively and conveniently as
he would handle his email.

Lack of scalability
Cybersecurity Issues

Big Data
Defined as extremely large data sets that may be analysed computationally
to reveal patterns, trends, and associations, especially relating to human
behaviour and interactions

WHAT
All the data
generated by
various devices
and applications.
eg, Social Media
Data, Stock
Exchange Data,
and search
Engine Data

Companies can plan

Internet Of Things (IoT)

Internet of things (IoT) is a biological community of associated physical articles

that are open through the web.
The "thing" in IoT could
be a man with a heart
screen or a vehicle
with inherent sensors,
i.e. objects that have
been appointed an IP
address and can
gather and exchange
information over a
system without manual
help or intercession

IOT can connect various devices

that are somewhere embedded
in the system. When the
devices are connected they can
be controlled from anywhere. It
helps us capture more data
from far many places, it helps
in increasing efficiency and
provides more security for IOT

The installed
innovation in the
articles helps them
to collaborate with
interior states or
the outside
environment,
which thus

It can help
the
organisation

efficiencies of

would create

for business,
people and
industries.

SMAC :

Social Mobile Analytics Cloud

A concept that four technologies are currently driving business innovation. It

creates an ecosystem that allows a business to improve its operations and get
closer to the customer with minimal overhead and maximum reach.
These devices will be able
to clearly demarcate the
difference between data
of interest and redundant
data. They will also
increase the coverage of
the individuals for whom
advertising products can
be garnished based on the
customers preferences..
Understanding
customer
requirements even before
they have made a
decision. The aim is to get
insight into the lives of
customers, understand
their lifestyles, interests
and behaviours, and
provide the
appropriate products or
services they need

The next big step is the

collaboration of
organizations with cloud
service technologies to
create custom solutions
for employees to work
better in the mobility
space. would focus on the
creation of unified
platform, enabling users
to work on their mobile
Cloud

devices
approach to computing
infrastructure that links
large pools of resources to
be
shared simultaneously by
multiple users.
