Automation
Automation in IT sector works same as in other sectors but the only difference from other
sectors is instead of using robots and machines we use scripts and programs codes for
performing automation
Automated Teller Machine could be a best example for automation in IT, here a logic
driven response( based on data entered by the user) is performed by an automated
process
omation in Testing: GUI testing of websites and output testing can be performed with the help of automation.
Server Automation: Tasks like Pulling information form large database, printing refined
data, spell-checking tasks, data entry, etc. There are many tools available for server
automation like ComodIT, Rundeck, etc
Network Automation: Network management functions like network mapping , device discovery,
and virtual network configuration can be implemented with the help of automation. Python
language is generally used for writing scripts for network automation.
Challenges:
Virtualization
WHAT IS IT:
In computing,
virtualization refers to
the demonstration of
making a virtual (as
opposed to genuine)
form of something,
including virtual PC
hardware platforms, OS,
storage gadgets, and PC
network resources.
Challenges:
Upfront cost- Huge initial investment is
required in virtualization software and
sometime additional hardware is also
required
Requirement of expert IT staff for
managing virtualization process
Not all server application are capable to
be implemented through virtualization
Security of confidential and important data
VIM
Monitor and Manage
performance of all virtual
machines in the organization
Establish and maintain
network connectivity
Ensuring of latest software
Creation, deletion and
modification of virtual
machine
FinTech :
