Subject

- The topic to be discuss.

Choose your subject wisely. Select based

on what are the matters or cases in our
society you wanted to discuss. Make sure
that the topic is suitable, for the society will
benefit from it through scouting.

S.P.E.A.R METHOD

warming up, and there is now overwhelming
scientific consensus that it is happening, and
human-induced. With global warming on the
increase and species and their habitats on the
decrease, chances for ecosystems to adapt naturally
are diminishing.

S.P.E.A.R METHOD

E xisting Project

- The current projects that are on work.

Write down all the existing project that

are currently on the making on your
problem. It is important to know whether
the current projects are sufficient or not: to
distinguish the other possible solution you
want to propose on.

Whereas, the existing projects is The Philippine Climate

Change Adaptation Projectthat focus on developing practical
examples and methodologies to enable targeted communities to
adapt to potential impacts of climate variability and change.

Ex.

Whereas, In order to prevent the risk of this problem, As a

part of the youth and a Scouting Organization, we can resolve
this by planting trees in an open field and by replacing the
illegally cut-down trees. We could also conduct a school per
school seminar orientation to make our co-youth more aware of
this issues

Is the objective precise and well defined?

Is it clear?
Can everyone understand it?
How will the individual know when the task has been
completed?
What evidence is needed to confirm it?
Have you stated how you will judge whether it has
been completed or not?
It is within their capabilities?
Are there sufficient resources available to enable this
to happen?
Can it be done to all?
Is it possible for the individual to perform the
objective?
Does it fit into the overall pattern of this individuals
work?
Is there a deadline?
