INTRODUCTION
Domestic power situation in India could become more
severe as the demand-supply mismatch in coal is projected
to increase from 137 million tonnes in 2012 to 326 million
tonnes by 2030.

Installed capacity of solar plants in India is 3,743MW

(2015).

To reduce the carbon emissions form thermal power plants

we go for
solar power plants.(coal generation 55%)

FUNDING
Loans:
Recourse Financing :
Recourse Financing requires collaterals and other extensive
guarantees from the Solar developer who wishes to avail loan.
Non-Recourse Financing:
does not require any additional collateral as the Asset or Power Plant
itself is the collateral in this case
Subsidy:
Capital Subsidy of 30% on the project cost upto a maximum size of
500 KW. Subsidy cannot be claimed for plants beyond 500 KW size
