Primary:
First point of consultation
Often refers to check-ups and preventive
care
Health and Medical needs treated by your
family physician
Secondary:
Referral to specialist at a hospital for a
closer assessment or treatment

Tertiary:
Highly specialized medical care
Ex: cancer management, neurosurgery, cardiac
surgery, plastic surgery, severe burns treatment.
Quaternary:
Sometimes used as an extension of tertiary care

Ambulatory Care
provides patient focused service where some conditions may
