gradually increased to 140
students in 2007-2008
and onwards.

New Laboratories with state of the art Equipment have

been established and some more are being developed.
Competent and Highly Qualified Faculty members with
substantial industrial exposure and experience have joined
the Department.

Technology to the students.
To provide Better Qualified Graduates to the Industry

Engineering Council (PEC) since the first batch .
Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) has
allowed the IMD to open its local chapter in the

International societies, such as ASQ, ASME,
SME, IMechE.
