challenging Patrol Exercise in order to
enhance Operational Capability.

descent, carrying approx 25kg per person.

Assessment Exercise Not Competition


The level of award will depend on the patrol completing all aspects of the
exercise, in particular the mission phase. Awards are:
Gold: 75% or more of the points available
Silver: 65-74% of the points available
Bronze: 55-64% of the points available
Certificate: Completed the exercise in the time allowed and scored less
than 55% of the points available
Certificates are awarded to all those that complete the Cambrian Patrol.
However, patrols or individuals who withdraw will not be awarded a
certificate (patrols that fall below 5 members are withdrawn for safety
reasons)

competition

Country Clearance - DA Responsibility

Team deploys to UK for RSOI prior to start,


hosted by 2R IRISH

Transport All flights arranged through DA. 2


R IRISH will provide a Minibus, Driver and Fuel
for the duration.

Accommodation/feedinq/equipment Provided
by 2 R IRISH

All Patrols will use UK Wpns 2 R IRISH will


provide wpns and training

Communications Int Patrols will use Sat


Phone in lieu of Radios

At least 3 x member of patrol to be an English


speaker e.g. Ptl Comd.

Early liaison with 2 R IRISH is essential for


success
