FDRS consists of
- A Flight Data
Interface
and Management
Unit
( FDIMU ).
- A Digital Flight Data
Recorder ( DFDR
).
-A three-axis Linear
Accelerometer
Recording will start for 5 minutes after the electric

power up then it goes to standby until the 1 engine
start up to 5 minutes after the last engine shutdown ,
When pressed the blue ON will come on then off after 1st
engine start .

In addition the Enhanced

GPWS based on a worldwide
terrain data base provides :
- A Terrain Awareness Display
(TAD) .
- A Terrain Clearance Floor
( TCF ) which improves the low
terrain warning during LAND

GPWS generates aural

& visual warnings when
one of the following
conditions occurs
between 2450 & 10 feet
:
- Mode 1 : Excessive
rate of
descent (SINK RATE
PULL UP).
- Mode 2 : Excessive
terrain
closure rate (TERRAIN
PULLUP).
-Mode 3 : Altitude loss
after TO
or Go-around
( DONT SINK ).
-Mode 4 : Unsafe terrain
clearance when not
in landing

If the basic
GPWS 1 TO 5
malfunctions

If TAD or TCF mode fails .

The basic GPWS 1 to 5 are
still operative .

If not

power and
the normal
AC supply
is lost

LAND RECOVERY :
The AC & DC land
recovery buses
recovered and restore
the following :
1- LGCIU 1 (LG CONTROL
Interface Unit ) .

2- SFCC 1 ( flap
channel is not
recovered if EMER GEN
is powered by the
RAT ).
3- BSCU channel 1 ( is
not recovered if EMER
GEN is powered by the
RAT ).
4- LH windshield anti

if EMER GEN is
powered by the RAT ) .
