AGRICULTURE Resources Assessment from

LiDAR
Surveys
PARMap aims to provide an updated and detailed inventory

of the agricultural
resources in the country. This deals with the development and application of
methodologies of extraction of agricultural high value crops and facilities, as well
as vulnerability assessment. The project utilizes dataset from Lidar surveys and
other remote sensing systems and field measurements. Stakeholders and key
agencies could use this derived information to determine production areas for
agriculture, crop management and crop inventory.

FOREST Resources Assessment from LiDAR

Surveys
FRExLS component aims to develop procedures and workflows for extracting and
characterizing forest features such as tree count, canopy height, canopy cover,
and density biomass and carbon stock from LiDAR data and validate it with field
measurements. With the derived data, key agencies could enhance forest
conversation and management.

PHD aimsSurveys
to develop a national repository of different hydrologic datasets of the
country based from scientific procedures and workflows from various
geographic data models. Pipeline of work includes (1) extraction of water
features (like streams, irrigation and wetlands), perform field validation and
accuracy assessment; (2) develop detailed resource maps; (3) produce a
geodatabase of river basins under the project area of responsibility (specifically,
Cabulilg, Musi-musi, Balatucan, Alubijid, Gahub and Linugos)

BIOMASS Resources Assessment from LiDAR

Surveys
Biomass component under REMap aims
to produce accurate assessment of the
countrys agricultural biomass potential
and available potential for energy
production from LiDAR information.

Biomass Resource Assessment

Framework

REMAP (Biomass)
Component

The framework of biomass agricultural

resources mapping includes the use of LiDAR
derived agricultural land cover maps in
evaluating field data and transform this
information into theoretical potential map and
available potential map via GIS processing.

considers all types of condition. The
accuracy for both clear sky and real sky
garnered above 90% .
