INTRODUCTION
Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. is an American multinational retail corporation

that operates a chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores and


grocery stores.

Founded by Sams Walton in 1962


Walmart has 11,527 stores in 27countries, most profitable retailors in U.S
including discounts outlets and grosery stores

Walmart is a family-owned business, as the company is controlled by the


Walton family.

HISTORY
In 1945, Sam Walton, purchased a branch of the Ben Franklin Stores from
the Butler Brothers.

His primary focus was to sale products on lowers prices, to get higher
volume sales and profit margin.
