2. PLACEMENT
Placement
If you hold any scholarship, you are
required to consult your sponsor for
approved
placement
of
industrial
training.
All YTN (scholarship/loan), IPP, and other
organizations sponsored students must
consult their sponsors to find out if
industrial training placement is provided.
Placement
# How many applications can I make?
No limit. You can send as many as you wish.
# When can I start sending the application?
Can start now. Companies may need 2 -3 months to
process your application.
# Is there any sample application?
Yes. Available at http://lms.uniten.edu.my/moodle /.
# I did not register IT as a subject, can I undergo
training?
You MUST register IT (COEB314) as a subject for the
special sem. Otherwise, your training will not be
considered for evaluation.

PLACEMENT
4. TRAINING APPROVAL
Once the coordinator approves your training
you need to do:
Register the details in the online ITS system
under Final placement link.
Submission of IT Approval Form and online entry.
Make sure you have registered IT (COEB314) as a subject for
the special Semester (i.e. subject registration done).

8. VISITING LECTURER
Visiting supervisor will visit at least once.
What the supervisor will do during the visit:
9. APPRECIATION LETTER
Download host supervisor appreciation letter before
the training finish.
Type the name of you host supervisor and the
company.
POST
1. SUBMISSION
Submit the Industrial Training
Completion Certificate to the
assigned visiting supervisor.
Submit the Industrial Training
Completion Report Form online at ITS.
Do the oral presentation on the
scheduled day (for those who do their
training overseas only).
2. ORAL PRESENTATION
The students are required to perform industrials
trainings oral presentation which will be assessed by a
panel of lecturers (for those doing overseas) or by the
host and visiting supervisors (for those doing locally).
The assessment will be based on Grading Form.
Each student will be given a period of ten (10) to
fifteen (15) minutes for the presentation and five (5)
minutes for questions and answers (QA). Assessment
of the students seminar will be mainly based on the
contents, style of the presentation and also the ability
of answering questions. The presentation must also
include a video presentation on each students
Industrial Training experience. You can use OHP sheets
for the presentation.

6. IT RESULT
PASS or FAIL based on marks scored.
The passing marks will be 50%.
FAIL result will also be given to those who
fail to submit the industrial training's
report or fail to perform Student's Oral
Presentation.
Those who are failed are required to repeat
the training.

Details
Before going for the training
Get CIDB green card.
Apply and get placement
Submit the Industrial Training Registration Form and the
acceptance letter to the industrial training coordinator for
approval.
Approval of the placement.
Register the industrial training details in UNITENS online student
info system (ITS).
Submission of approved Industrial Training Registration Form
and the acceptance letter to the COE industrial training
Assistant, Ms Nor Ainin Jamaludin. The forms must be submitted
only after the online registration.
During the training
Arrange for visitation and oral presentation (for those doing
locally only), maintain log book
Upon completion of the training
Submit the Industrial Training Completion Certificate to the
assigned Visiting Supervisor. (Sample is available in the guideline)
Submit the Training Report .
Submit the Industrial Training Completion Report Form
online at ITS.
Submit the certified log book to the assigned visiting supervisor.
