VCO
VCO or Virgin coconut oil is oil from fresh
coconut meat without mixture of other
chemicals

Procedure of making VCO with heating method

500 gram grated coconut and 500ml warm water


Mix Grated coconut and warm water
Squeeze to make coconut milk
Put into separating funnel and wait around 1
hour to make 3 layers
5. Take the coconut cream and heat at 60-70C to
make blondo and the Oil
6. Filter the blondo with filter paper and then the oil
refined with heated at temperature 60-75 C

Transparant Soap
Soap is a mixture of oils / fats with salt alkaline
through a reaction known as saponification.
C3H5(COOR)3+ 3 NaOH C3H5(OH)3+ 3 RCOONa
Transparant soap is soap made from VCO and
NaOH as well as with the technique eliminates the
alkali content. Transparent soap is composed by
adding alcohol, sugar solution, and glycerin to
produce transparent conditions of soap.
Usually transparent soap is made with semi-hot
( 60 C) and stirred continuously.

Take transparent soap gram, and then
dissolve it in water, measured with pH
indikator (pH 8-9)
The colour of soap is clear transparent
soap produced is not mushy and watery
