Creation of a Subscriber
Command : ABOCR
Creates a new subscriber line with its
discriminations( TY & CAT ) .
Some parameters required for creation
are
ND ( Directory number )
NE ( equipment number )

Creation of a Subscriber
TY
Types are data related to the subscriber's eq
uipment on the board, to the line or to the
telephone set, (ex: KLA push-buttonset, SPA
outgoing only line).
CAT
Categories are data related to the designati
on number. They are assigned either
individually to the subscriber line or to a set
of lines of a group (ex : RVT entitlement to
temporary transfer)

Creation of a Subscriber
MAR
Marks indicates a temporary state of the
subs line or
else they indicate that a service has been
activated or not .
for ex : MAR = ATT if call wait is activated
MAR= ARC if dynamic lock
MAR= ARV if call transfer

Modification of a subscriber
Command : ABOMO
Modifies subs characteristics( TY & CAT )
If the subs registers any value added
services like call transfer , hot line etc
they can be given through above
command by modifying TY or CAT of a
subscriber .

Modification of a subscriber
Command : ABOMU
Re-allocates a subscriber line to another
equipment number(NE). Allocates new
available equipment to the subscriber's
ND.
The subscriber keeps his directory
number, his discriminations and the
contents of his charge account

Non payment disconnection

Command : ABOMO
Parameter : CAT = DF12
by this , subscriber will get incoming calls
only . The subs is not authorized to do
outgoing calls.
Parameter : CAT= DF11
By this , subs will not get even incoming
calls

Safe custody
Command : ABOMO
Parameter : CAT = DF2
Customers, who do not intend to use their
landline connection for more than three
months period and want to ensure that
their line is not misused in their absence,
can avail the Safe Custody Plan at very
nominal charges:

Safe custody
. The safe custody charges will be a fixed
amount per month .The charges will be paid
in advance.
The phone connection will be disabled for
the period of safe custody.
. Telephone number will be retained and will
be restored after the period of safe custody
on the request of customer.
The minimum period of safe custody will be
three months in BSNL Network.

Shifting of telephone connection

Shifts are of the following types:
Within the same exchange area
From one exchange area to another
exchange area in Multi-Exchange areas
All India Shift
Shifts within Same Telephone System :

Deletion of a Subscriber
Command : ABOSU
When the command is issued to delete a
subscriber, the information concerning a
subscriber is deleted.
No communication possible using this line.
Calls made to this line diverted to an
operator or announcement or fed NU tone
