IMTP Detailed Survey of Land

The proposed IMTP is to be developed in about
529.5 acres of land (542 acres including existing
village & roads), located at a distance of about
20 Kms from Tumakuru city
Area is bounded on North by private land, on
South by Vasanthanarasapura IA II & III Phase, on
East by PWD road & the proposed JIT and on
West by Vasanthanarasapura IA III Phase
Contour map indicates that the land is fairly level
from Southern portion to North-Eastern portion
and is gently sloping from the ridge at the
Eastern portion towards the Western portion,
with a difference in elevation of about 45m.

Storm water drainage system is provided to collect
storm water runoff from roads and adjacent plots,
parks, open areas and convey it through the adjacent
areas along the road side drains
Storm water will naturally flow from east to west as the
ground is sloping; on south-eastern part, storm water
will tend to flow towards west and northern sides
