What

do we mean by GREEN
HOME ?

A home built upon logic and eco-sensitivity

For an example, we ourselves will produce sufficient energy from the sun
the wind for most of the requirement.
We will save energy with the help of latest technology. We will distribute
hot water to every resident.
We will build our houses with eco-friendly material. We will
make our rooms spacious, well lit and airy with the engineering precisio
We will keep our surrounding forest clean, green and pristine.

Planning for Residential

Area
Building is planned to have maximum Natural light,
Natural Ventilation.
All flats are Three side open .
No Common wall in between any of the flat which
achieves very good cross ventilation.
Total area of opening (inlet & outlet) is more than
30% of floor area.
Minimum Lux level under overcast sky conditions
for a typical summer day.
Kitchen / Dining : 200
Living Room : 50
Study Room / Common Bedroom :
160
Circulation : 30

SELF-SUFFICIENCY

COMPUTER SIMULATED
ARCHITECTURE

Climate responsive design reduces the need for cooling or light up.
Natural cross ventilation and natural day-light can significantly bring down the costs and
the energy needs.
Three side open flat for fresh air and daylight.
The computer simulated architecture to predict the performance of the building,
in terms of temperature, air flow, humidity and lux levels.

Lesser or reduced effects on human health and the environment in comparison with
the use of non
eco-friendly materials.

Can reuse the construction waste.

Continuous calculation of the Carbon Footprint and aiming for NET ZERO CARBON
PROJECT.

HYBRID POWER
SYSTEM

Combination of Solar Photovoltaic

Panels
. Wind Mills with battery storage system.
&

Entire common lighting as well as

one lift in every building runs on
hybrid energy.

All points ( Light, Fan, TV, Computer, etc.) except power points in all flats have
Green Energy as primary source and grid energy as Stand by.
Every flat has Blink Free Changeover ( BFC ) switch, which limits the use of current
of Green Energy up to 1.0 Amp

BFC Switch ( for every flat )

Hybrid
Power
System
The system has two windmills located on top of
the terrace, each of capacity 5KW peak, 36
crystalline solar PV panels - each of capacity
120Wp & 54 thin film CIGS solar PV panels- each
of capacity 144Wp i.e. totaling to 12 KW peak,
which will be able to produce, combined
together,60 units per day.
The Hybrid Power Collector (HPC) is designed to
generate electricity even at wind speed as low as
2m/sec.(being hybrid energy source & using
boost charging method).
The HPC has display panel which shows all the
details of electricity produced by both Windmills
& Solar PV separately for last 365 days.
The battery is SMFVRLA Type - 2V 200Ah, 180
nos., having expected life span of around 10
years.

FIXTURE &
FITTINGS

Compulsory use of energy efficient fixtures and fitting in each flat such as T5
Tube Lights, CFL/ LED & Power Saver Fans.
Common lighting in outdoor passage as well as parking areas have LED lights.

SOLAR WATER HEATING

SYSTEM

Each flat is provided with one insulated hot water tank fitted with an ISI marked
electrical heating coil with thermostat of 3KW, instead of single reservoir for all.
The Display Panel ensures optimum use of solar hot water in each flat.
Reduce 55% of the domestic electrical consumptions that are used in water
heating in the western part of India.

ROOT ZONE CLEANING

SYSTEM

A natural water treatment system that is well known to this subcontinent is the use
of wetland species
( Phragmatis
austalis
) for sewage
treatments.
The
treatment
efficiency
is 90%
to 98%.

No electricity consumption is required.

Water will be reused in Flushing and Car washing, that reduces the water demand by
30%.
