EVENT: BUSINESSMANIA

Purpose: To bring out the hidden entrepreneur


from everyone.
To inculcate the feeling of working together.
To include staff and faculty also in the event.
To help them implement their ideas on the basis
of their strengths
To give a real taste of how a business model
actually works.
Place: IIM Indore Campus
Participation: All the students can participate
in a team of 10-15 from their own section.

EVENT DETAILS
Each team has to come up with a business idea that
must solve a problem, either for the students of the
campus or for the faculties or staff.
After presenting the idea, they have to implement and
present it either in the form of prototype or
presentation.
They have to promote their idea across the campus
and have to ask for votes from the other students and
staff.
They have to assign different responsibilities to
different members of their team.
Activities to be done: Event Planning, SWOT Analysis,
Marketing, Execution.

The best execution in terms of all the parameters


will get the prize and if feasible will be
implemented by the E- cell.
Feasibility: It will be a one day event. Students
will be given 3-4 days to prepare for it. Each team
will be given a fund of 1000 rs from E-cell
Financial Requirements:
1.
Posters and Banners = 500 rs
2.
Fund from the club for the teams = 10000 Rs
(depends on the no of teams)
3. Election Process will be held by the club
4. Arrangements for the final presentation= 2000
rs
5. Total budget(approx) = 13000 Rs

AVENUES

Values: we should increase the varieties of


services being offered like-offering seats at Poha
point to sit and enjoy the snacks
Additional values can be given by offering a
combination of Hot Coffee and Doughnuts.
Experience: it increase users experience by
providing a distinguished advantage of sharing
thoughts over coffee, reading a book etc.
We can offer premium coffee like Latte and
Cappuccino, Hot chocolate,
Chocolate Sandwich,
Chinese Food joint.

PUBLICATION OF MONTHLY
ENTREPRENEURSHIP MAGAZINE

Its fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the


lessons of failure.
People know a lot about various initiatives started by E-Cell, but
each venture has its own story, that very few people know.
I am proposing to publish a monthly magazine which will have-

Story of one of the venture from E cell each month.

2.

Story of our alumni entrepreneur and their venture.

3.

Information about current ventures and the facilities.

4.

Problems faced and overcome by the venture.

5.

Advertisements for the avenues and their offerings

6.

Information about the initiatives from E cell

Story of the month- one Entrepreneurship story every month from


the industry. It will provide them knowledge of the industry too
Complaints and solutions for various initiatives- Because To
improve is to change, to be perfect is to change often
