Introduction: Our Vision


Our vision is to increase access to health care screenings and health
promotion services in the greater Big Rapids area.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide basic health education and services to those
who lack adequate resources and to encourage community support
and involvement.

Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is that all people deserve access to health services
and screenings regardless of economic standing or financial status.
These services will be provided through university involvement and
community volunteers with a focus on providing opportunities and
experiences for student nurses. We will strengthen the community
through helping those in need and raising awareness of health
promotion services.

Goals and Objectives


1.To be the top non-profit organization in the greater Big Rapids area.
a. To continually increase monetary donations by 25% yearly.
b. To expand our services to three locations in the next five years with adequate
funding and qualified staff at each location.

2. To increase education and awareness about the importance of health
promotion and screenings.
a. To obtain 5,000 followers on various social media sites within the first year.
b. To offer incentives at different intervals for those who follow social media sites.

3. To decrease the prevalence of health disparities in the greater Big
Rapids area.
a. To decrease the occurrence of hypertension in the community by 5% within the
first 5 years.
b. To continually offer weekly blood pressure screenings along with education on how
to lower blood pressure.
