have passed HSC and Alevel.
In this study we have taken the socio-economy
condition of students and tuition fees of the universities
that plays important role to take the decision.
We have used an open ended questionnaire for our
observation as a short list of structured interview
questions.

Methodology
In the open-ended question have asked to respondents to explore any
other factor that had not been identified in the qualitative study.
We have set some stratum among the private universities and classified
those into some categories and compared those with public universities.
As we have collected some data by consist of surveys, classroom
observations and interviews with student as well as teachers to find out
the quality level .
We have also chosen a small group (6 - 8 persons) where members are
brought together by us for depth discussion about the topic that we
have researched on.

Analysis
We chose 25 students from various universities across Dhaka
and were handed questionnaires by us.
From the questionnaire we got to know quite a few similarities
between students when choosing their university.
One of them was the quality of private universities. Students
believe private universities provide better quality than the public
universities.
Another was the campus arrangement. Even though Dhaka
University has the largest campus according to the size of the
area, students does not feel comfortable with the
atmosphere/environment.

Analysis
The questionnaire also asked the students about their level of
satisfaction of their teachers/faculties. And all of them answers
were positive; all are satisfied with their respective teachers.
The students also think their courses are up to date and private
universities offer job oriented courses more than the public
universities.
Public universities offers education against very cheap fees where
else private universities consume outstanding/large amount of
fees but students are reluctant to compromise when it comes to
quality of education and certainly private universities assures that
to the students.
The other reasons are facilities the students get, high-standard
library and lab, very advanced class rooms, etc.

Findings
56% of our respondents are female and 44% respondents are male.
88% of our respondents mentioned that they have choose private
universities because there is

no session jam,
course schedule and
