About Christian County Ambulance District

CCAD formed in 1984, governed by a Board of Directors comprised of

representatives from the community
CCAD is property tax funded $1.3 Million annually with a annual levy
of .1324 or .13 cents per $100 of ASSESSED value
CCAD includes all of Christian County EXCEPT Clever/Billings panhandle
NOT affiliated with 911, fire departments or hospitals
CCAD has an Administrative Director & approximately 40 contracted
leadership and staff serving Christian County.
CCAD owns all infrastructure/fleet including 5 stations, 10 ambulances
and 4 support vehicles with ZERO debt service.
In 2015 CCAD ran 7653 calls = 20.9 calls per day
CCAD is the only Performance Based EMS System contract in SW Mo.

What Is Performance Based EMS?

High performance based EMS focuses heavily on

simultaneously providing clinical excellence,
guaranteed response time reliability, economic
efficiency and customer satisfaction and improving
patient care through continuous measurements and
inputs using key performance indicators.

In the last 13 year span CCAD has had a

46% increase in EMS call volume

Why Annex & Expand Our Borders?

CCAD would provide an EMS station in the Clever area with 24/7 staffing
Adds jobs to our community & offers stability of services
IMPROVE RESPONSE TIMES = Decreased rate of mortality for time critical
emergencies & increased cardiac arrest survival rate

Expanding the size of the district allows CCAD to

keep up with the rate of regional growth

services/equipment/infrastructure

(.1324 is right at 1/3 of what you pay for Clever Fire Department taxes)
