Puberty includes:
Growth spurt

Teenagers need to know that:

No set timetable for change. It can

begin as early as 9 or as late as 15.

Some males and females develop

faster than others

Teenagers need to know that:


Girls usually start their growth

spurt when they are around ten


years old or sometimes as early as 9
1/2.
Boys usually begin their growth

spurt about twelve to eighteen


months after most girls.

Boys continue to grow three to four


years after most girls have finished
growing. Boys often do not finish
growing until age 20 or 21.

FOR GIRLS, the changes usually


happen in the order below:
1. Breast grow
2.Growth of Bony Pelvis
3. Pubic hair develops
4. Vaginal discharge appears
5. Underarm hair grow

FOR BOYS, the physical changes


they experience during puberty
include the following
1. Testes and Scrotal Sac grow
2. Pubic hair begins to appear
3. Penis grows longer and testes

continue to get bigger


4. Voice changes and begins to
deepen
5. Facial hair grows
6. Breasts may become tender and
larger

Certain level of maturity is required in the
selection of a partner

the Things to Avoid When Dating:


When you are getting close to your friend
control your urge to go further.
Parts of your body such as your genitals, buttocks,

inner thighs, chest, neck, and mouth are very easily


stimulated.
Avoid direct contact around these areas because it
will stimulate your sexual desire.
Strong and firmly refuse if your partner
urge you to have sex
threatens to break up with you.

HOUSE/ DORMITORY ORDINANCE

Owners and their adolescent children to be required to
be trained on parenting education and peer
counseling , respectively, by accredited institutions
Boarding Houses to have a registry of boarders (i.e.
name, their contact numbers and address; name of
parents, their contact numbers and address; schedule
of classes; among others)
