Sepam UMI- General
User-Machine Interface (UMI): two type of UMI
basic UMI:
2 signal lamps indicating Sepam operating status
9 parameterizable yellow signal lamps + standard labels
Reset button for clearing faults and resetting.
advanced UMI
display of all measurement and diagnosis data in numerical format with units and/ or in bar
graphs
display of operating and alarm messages, with alarm acknowledgment and Sepam resetting
display and setting of all the Sepam parameters
display and setting of all the parameters of each protection function
display of Sepam and remote module versions
output testing and logic input status display
entry of 2 passwords to protect parameter and protection settings.
- advanced UMI can be fixed or remote type
- advanced UMI are available in 2 languages:
1. English (default)
2. Second language (option)

measurements and parameters are
accessed via the metering, diagnosis,
status and protection keys, but through
a sub-menu which is then used to select the
measurements and parameters.

Sepam UMI- Data entry principles- Use of passwords
Sepamhas two 4-digit passwords.
The first password, symbolized by a key, is used to
modify the protection settings
The second password, symbolized by two keys, is
used to modify the protection settings and all the
general settings.
(*) The 2 factory-set passwords are: 0000

Only the parameter setting qualification level (2
keys) or the SFT2841 allow modification of the
passwords.
