ULTRA-LOW FREEZERS

1-Installation and start up


Read instruction manual before installation.
Failure to read, understand and follow the instruction
may result in damage the unit, injury to the operator and
poor equipment performance.
All internal adjustment and maintenance must be
performed by qualified service personnel.

Follow unpacking instruction.


Perform inspection procedure.
Dont move the freezer with the product
inside.
If tipped more than 45, allow the unit to set
upright for 24hrs before start up.
Choose location/ Firm, level, ambient
temp(18-32)
For proper ventilation, allow a minimum
clearance of 5 at the rear and 8 on the
side.
Connect power cord and plug it with the
power switch off. Should be operated on
dedicated grounded service. Check the

4-Operation
Set operating temperature.(range=-50 to
-80)
Default setting=-80
Set High temperature alarm (at least 5C
from control set point.
Set Low temperature alarm (at least 5C
from control set point.
Run mode(default mode for the freezer) it
display the cabinet temperature on the
temperature display

5-Calibration
The control probe calibration frequency is
depend on use, ambient temperature and
accuracy required.
Use type T thermocouple reader.

7-Maintenance
Clean cabinet exterior
Use soap and water and general use
laboratory disinfectant. Rinse with clean water
and dry with soft cloth.
Avoid excessive use of water around control
area.
Clean air filter
Should be cleaned a minimum of four times
per year. depending to environmental
condition.
Follow the instruction to remove the filter.
Wash the filter material using water and a mild
detergent. Dry by pressing b/n two towels.
Replace If torn or excessively dirty.

Clean condenser
Minimum of once per year.
Follow the instruction to get access to the
condenser
Use vacuum cleaner, excessive care to
not damage the condenser fin.
Cleaning lid gasket
Minimum of once per month.
Use cloth, remove any frost and dirt.
If dirt or excessive frost build-up prevents
the door from closing properly, clean
more frequently.

8-Factory installed options


BUS
Operated by the internal battery.
If the power to the freezer chamber fails or
temperature increases, the BUS injects
qualified gas into the chamber to keep the
chamber temperature with in the specified
range.
Locate the mounting hole assembly for
installing the injection tee assembly.
Follow the instruction to install the assembly.
When activated (solenoid valve) this unit injects
liquid nitrogen or carbon dioxide. These may
cause serious freezing, suffocation.

Chart recorder
Water- cooled condenser
Requires a qualified technician at freezer
installation.
Proper adjustment of regulating valve.
