INTRODUCTION
We will work the four main communication English
skills:
Listening, Reading, Writing AND Speaking.
Well do activities related with a topic. We have
chosen Kitchen topic because we think it is
important topic for students. The kitchen is no
doubt the highlight in the house because it is
connect with the food.
These activities about Kitchen are destined to the
children in Primary fourth.
We have planned six days of English classes.
PURPOSE
Listening to improve concentration span and to
consolidate new vocabulary.
Listening to improve memory and concentration.
Learning to pronounce the words of vocabulary.
Differentiating the objects of the kitchen.
Reading the text and to identify words related to the
kitchen.
Understanding the reading of the texts.
To relate the vocabulary to the corresponding drawings.
Writing the words of the vocabulary the correct form.
METHODOLOGY
We use a direct method of teaching. This method is:
Use a foreign language (English language) as a driver
education.
Promote speaking English in the children with basic
contents of phonetics and pronunciation.
Teaching students real-life situations in English we do
every day.
Using different methods of visualization and learning
using pictures and games.
ACTIVITIES
LISTEN AND SURROUND IMAGES.
It is a drawing activity. The children will hear
the listening about the kitchen topic and they
draw a circle on the image of the kitchen
vocabulary.
The narrative:
At home Peter is a
large kitchen with lots
of cupboards and
drawers where he
keeps many utensils. It
has a large saucepan,
four forks, two knives,
a frying pan, a tea
towel to clean hands,
three spoons, five
bowls placed on a
shelf, spices to flavor
food, and a dishwasher
to wash all that mess
when cooking .
